1. Who we are

RoyalChat Nova (“we”, “us”, “the app”) is a messaging and social application. This Privacy Policy explains what we collect, why, and the choices you have. If you have questions, contact us at info@royalchat.online.

2. Information you provide

• Account details: your name, email address, optional bio and profile picture.

• Content you create: messages, posts, stories, comments, reactions and any photos, videos, documents or audio you upload.

• Communications: calls you place or receive, and reports or support requests you send us.

3. Information collected automatically

• Device & usage data: app version, device type/OS, approximate region, and diagnostic logs.

• Engagement signals: which posts you view, dwell time, scrolling and interactions — used only to rank and personalize your Discover feed.

• Push tokens: if you enable notifications, we store a push token to deliver them.

4. How we use your information

• To operate core features: chat, calls, social feed and stories.

• To personalize your Discover feed and show relevant content.

• To send transactional emails (e.g. sign-in codes) and, if enabled, push notifications.

• To keep the platform safe: moderation, spam/abuse prevention and handling reports.

• To provide customer support and improve the product.

5. How your information is shared

• With other users: content you post or send is visible according to the audience you choose (public, followers, friends or direct recipients).

• With service providers who process data on our behalf: cloud object storage (IONOS) for your media, email delivery (Resend), and push-notification delivery. They may only use it to provide their service to us.

• For legal reasons: if required by law or to protect the rights, safety and security of users and the platform.

• We do not sell your personal data.

6. Media & file storage

Photos, videos, documents and other files you upload are stored in secure cloud object storage and served over encrypted connections. Files you delete are removed from our systems; cached copies may persist briefly.

7. Calls

Voice and video calls use peer-to-peer WebRTC where possible. Call media is not recorded or stored by us. We keep minimal call metadata (such as time and participants) to deliver and troubleshoot the feature.

8. Data retention

We keep your account data while your account is active. Engagement logs used for feed ranking are automatically deleted after a short period. You can delete your content or your account at any time; deletion removes associated content from our active systems.

9. Your rights & choices

• Access, correct or delete your information from in-app settings.

• Control your audience for each post and manage muted/blocked accounts.

• Turn notifications on or off at any time.

• Request account deletion by contacting info@royalchat.online.

Depending on your region, you may have additional rights under laws such as the GDPR.

10. Children

RoyalChat Nova is not intended for children under 13 (or the minimum age required in your country). We do not knowingly collect data from children below this age.

11. Security

We use encryption in transit, access controls and other safeguards to protect your data. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, but we work to protect your information and to notify you of material incidents where required.

12. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be communicated in-app or by email. Continued use of RoyalChat Nova after an update means you accept the revised policy.
